I was born in Marion, Indiana and I attended high school and college in Indianapolis. Leaving friends and family I decided to pursue a life in colorful Colorado. Since moving here, I've been employed by K-Mart, Sears and Roebuck, Greeley Cablevision, State Farm, UPS and Electronic Analysis in that order. In 1986 I was hired by Lee "Red" Archer who began AAA Satellite Service Company in Loveland in 1982. During my employment with Red, I performed hundreds of the big dish C-band installations. Later, Red moved on to new ventures and offered me the purchase of AAA Satellite which I bought in 1989. I rented a building by the old sugar factory in Greeley on thirteenth street and had a showroom and office there for several years. Since leaving that location I moved the business to my home where I've been operating from ever since.
I've been happily married to my wife Ranae for 45 years who has been employed by State Farm the entire time. Ranae is a Greeley native and most of her family still live here. We enjoy biking, hiking, fishing, traveling, and cruising and occasionally we even make it to the golf course. We attend church at First Assembly on 16th street in Greeley and have 2 sons living in Colorado.
UPDATE: Ranae retired from State Farm Feb. 2017 YEA!!
Additionally I consider myself pretty much a "jack of all trades". When I meet a seemingly impossible challenge I usually can find a way to get it done. Being a "perfectionist" usually takes me longer than the average guy but I strive to do it right the first time. I also attend meetings and annual satellite team summits to keep me informed of the latest technologies and developments.
